Neuer CEO mit Fokus
Tiger ist ein Kupferproduzent im Kongo und hat eine Reihe von Investitionen zur Produktionsoptimierung begonnen. In 2020 sollen die angeschafften Anlagen in Betrieb genommen werden. Ziel ist es, diese zu optimieren und eine zuverlässige Produktion auf Kipoi zu ermöglichen. Im Juli 2019 wurde Caroline Keats zum Managing Director & CEO ernannt.
Tiger befindet sich im Prozess einer umfassenden Umstrukturierung seiner Geschäftstätigkeit, mit dem unmittelbaren Fokus darauf, sicherzustellen, dass das Unternehmen die richtige Größe hat und über die erforderlichen Fachkenntnisse verfügt. Caroline Keats ist bestrebt, das KipoiTeam zu verstärken und die Kupferproduktion zu stabilisieren.
Tiger prüft alle Möglichkeiten, um die Effizienz im gesamten Unternehmen zu steigern, einschließlich betrieblicher Abläufe und Initiativen zur Kostenoptimierung, um Tiger für ein nachhaltiges Wachstum zu positionieren. Hierzu werden die Gespräche mit ihren vorrangigen Kreditgebern über die Restrukturierung ihrer besicherten Schulden fortgesetzt.
Tiger befindet sich weiterhin in einer freiwilligen Handelsaussetzung an der ASX und in Frankfurt, während das Unternehmen seine Gespräche über die geplante Umschuldung fortsetzt. Sollte TGS Notierungsanforderungen des ASX bis Februar 2020 nicht erfüllen, wird das Unternehmen wahrscheinlich von der australischen Börse ASX gestrichen.
Mr Anderson has over 25 years industry experience, largely in southern Africa and Australia. His career commenced as a geologist with Anglo American, followed by roles in the metallurgical and engineering industries with Mintek, Bateman and Kellogg Brown & Root. He subsequently held senior management positions including Corporate Development Manager at Gallery Gold Limited, and Managing Director at Exco Resources Limited, where he oversaw the successful development of the White Dam Gold Project, and the sale of the Company's Cloncurry Copper Project to Xstrata.
He joined Taurus Funds Management as a Director in August 2011 where his role comprises origination, due diligence and management across a range of the firm's equity and debt investments. Mr Anderson has served as Taurus' nominee on the boards of a number of private and publicly listed companies and is currently a Non-Executive Director of Alliance Mining Commodities, Hot Chili Limited and QMetco Limited.
Mr Anderson is the nominated Chairman by Taurus Managment Fund Pty Limited, one of the Company's Senior Lenders.
Ms Johnston is a sustainability professional with experience in mining from exploration through to production. She has lived in Francophone Africa for over 25 years and is fluent in French. Previous industry related positions include Administration Manager and then CEO of Sahara Geoservices based in Burkina Faso, West Africa. Later she joined Truegold Mining Corporation as CSR Manager, and most recently Endeavour Mining Corporation as Regional CSR Coordinator for West Africa. Through these roles Ms Johnson has obtained extensive practical experience of the social, administrative, management, government and labour relations issues that arise in the development and operation of African mining projects.
Before joining the mining sector, Ms Johnston managed community humanitarian and development projects in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Burkina Faso. She has an MSc in International
Ms Johnston is the nominated Director of Taurus Management Fund Pty Limited, one of the Company's Senior Lenders.
Managing Director & CEO
Ms Keats has 20 years of corporate and commercial experience and has served in various executive roles. For nearly 15 of those years she worked in the mining industry in Australia and foreign jurisdictions. Prior to working on the corporate side, she was with both a top-tier national law firm, as well as a boutique mining law firm.
Ms Keats is a seasoned business executive who brings significant corporate, commercial and operations experience to this role. In particular, her background with African mining operations, and specifically her work within the DRC, will be vital as she continues to drive the Company through the restructuring process.
CFO (by November 2019)
Mr Wrigley joined Tiger Resources in June 2017 as an accomplished senior finance executive with 20 years' experience in international listed and private entities across multiple industry sectors. He brings extensive experience in the resources industry, business transformation, strategy implementation and corporate governance.
Mr Wrigley's previous experience includes CFO and senior finance executive roles for CuDeco Limited, Consolidated Minerals, Alacer Gold Corporation, Singapore Power's Australia subsidiary Jemena and Alinta Limited and commenced his professional career with PwC in Australia and the USA.
He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Mr Patarica has more than 26 years experience in Australia, West Africa and South America across multiple disciplines including executive and general management, project development and business improvement. His most recent COO role was with Mineral Deposits Limited (ASX:MDL), which held a 50% interest in the TiZir Joint Venture with ERAMET of France. The TiZir joint venture owned 90% of the Grande Côte mineral sands operation (GCO) in Senegal, West Africa and 100% of the TiZir ilmenite upgrading facility in Tyssedal, Norway.
Prior to joining MDL, he was Managing Director/CEO of Bassari Resources Limited (ASX:BSR), focused on discovering and developing multi-million-ounce gold deposits in the Birimian Gold Belt, Senegal, West Africa.
Mr Patarica has also been involved in developing and operating mining operations across major mining centres in Australia with Newcrest Mining (Cadia Hill Gold Mine), Placer Dome Asia Pacific (Corporate & Project Development Group), and Northgate Minerals Corporation (Fosterville Gold Mine).
